What is Crop Water Requirement (CWR)

Crop Water Requirement (CWR) is the amount of water needed by the various crops to grow optimally.CWR is defined as amount of water required to meet the need of evaporation and transpiration by the crop throughout its life, called Crop Evapotranspiration (ETc). Generally, it is expressed in terms of depth of water (millimeter/centimeter/inch).
